The EOD Explosive Ordnance Disposal Veteran Collectible Challenge Coin is for the Devil Dogs that were truly at the tip of the spear.  The Devil Dogs are EOD.  As Devil Dogs Infantry continuously dominated the enemy on the field of battle, the enemy resorted to another means of warfare.  This was IED warfare.  Many Devil Dogs lost their lives and limbs to IEDs in both OEF/OIF to IEDs. Devil Dogs EOD are subject matter experts in their field.  This field was disarming IEDs and other unconventional ordnance.
