The 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines (2/5) is a Marine infantry battalion based at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California. It is a part of the 5th Marine Regiment and the 1st Marine Division. The 2/5 Marines are known as “The Bloodline” and have a long and distinguished history of service in the United States Marine Corps.
