Challenge coins are small, medallion-like coins that are often given as a form of recognition or as a symbol of membership in a particular group or organization. In the United States Marine Corps, challenge coins are often used to recognize the achievements and contributions of Marines and to foster a sense of pride and camaraderie within the Corps. We honor the USMC with these Marine Corps Challenge coins.

Challenge coins in the Marine Corps are often made in the shape of the Marine Corps emblem and feature the Marine Corps motto, “Semper Fidelis,” which means “always faithful” in Latin. These coins are often given to Marines as a way of thanking them for their service or recognizing their achievements. They can also be used as a way to challenge other Marines to perform a task or to demonstrate their knowledge or expertise in a particular area.

Challenge coins are a tradition in the Marine Corps and are often treasured by Marines as a symbol of their membership in this elite and highly respected military organization.
